Y2K Error in NASA Temperature Study
Jim Hansen had some sort of Y2K error in handling historical
temperature records and now a corrected version of US average
temperature shows that 1934 not 1998 was the warmest year this
century. While the error is a small one, climate change advocates had
seized on the erroneous data to support their hypothesis that the
Earth is warming due to man's influence. It may still be but the case
is weaker now. Kudos to NASA for correcting the error.
