Prepared Statement of NASA Administrator Nominee Michael Griffin
Sounds good, and I wish Mr. Griffin the best of luck. I love the
analogy to Queen Isabella of Spain in 1492, how that year they finally
drove the Moors out of Spain and invested in Columbus' expedition, and
thus the grand future of the Spanish Empire. We're trying to do the
same thing, right?
Now, as for the liberals' response to such rhetoric. Griffin gets
points for lauding a female, Queen Isabella. But I think mentioning
Columbus' expedition in a positive light lost him about ten times that
